We have raised our children here, we shop here and we know how hard it is to find a company that you can trust with your money. We also know it is an expensive endeavor. This is one reason we speak so much about our Angie's List ratings. We have worked hard to maintain an all "A" review with them. This way our future customers know they can count on us!
There are several steps you’ll have to take when choosing the appropriate air conditioning system for your home.
First of all, there are differences between the types of systems, as some are more powerful than others. Having a system that isn’t the right fit for your home can increase the run time for the system, add stress to the motors and parts in the system, and decrease your satisfaction. The wrong system can cost you a lot of money in unnecessary energy bills. The right system will save you money!
Each type of system is available in a variety of sizes, so it will match the specific dimensions of your home. Keep in mind, too, that bigger isn’t always better. A system that’s too big will turn on and off frequently, leading to added wear and tear on its component parts. You really want to get the sizing just right, and that’s where we come in. Proper sizing is a requirement in the Tampa area, as those quick on and offs--referred to in the industry as short cycling--lead to increased humidity. Yes, the house will satisfy the temperature demand quickly, but the system can't possibly dehumidify, and comfort won't be attainable. Homeowners with oversized systems often have to nudge the thermostat lower and lower to feel comfortable.
Our expert staff is always on hand to answer all of your air conditioning system installation questions. We’ll guide you through the process of choosing a type and size of air conditioning system that will be perfectly suited to your needs and the layout of your home.
Mobile Home Air Conditioning Systems
Do you live in a manufactured home? then in all likelihood, you have one unit doing the job of the split systems seen in some homes. These systems have an outdoor compressor and the evaporator coil and the blowers all packaged in one solid unit. They actually circulate cooled air directly through the duct system of your home. Packaged air conditioning systems are quite effective for moderate to large homes, and they are particularly cost effective if they’re installed as part of new construction. They are also available in high efficiency and heat pump options. Newer models even offer indoor air quality options.
Central Air Conditioning Systems
For a conventionally constructed home, a central air conditioning system may be what you need. These are typically found in larger homes in the Tampa, FL area. Encore offers a variety of the top models of central air conditioning systems, and our technicians have the skills and experience to install them properly and efficiently.
So no matter what type of system it is you’re looking for, feel free to give us a call today. We’ll be glad to discuss your options with you and let you know how we can take care of all of your air conditioning system installation needs.
Heat Pump Systems
A heat pump is an air conditioning unit with a valve in it that switches the direction the freon flows through your system. When calling for cooling the freon runs clockwise from the outdoor unit to the indoor unit and when it switches into heating mode the freon reverses direction to a counter clockwise rotation. This is also called a reverse cycle central heating and air conditioning system.
Heat pumps are approximately 50% more efficient than a straight cooling electric heat system because it uses the outdoor air to create heat through the compressor verses the heater coil. Most all condos use straight cool with electric heat while most homes utilize heat pumps.
